All goods are in stock and delivered within 2 working days of cleared payment.
Items are delivered Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm by our couriers, a signature is required upon receipt of goods.
When your order is despatched our system will automatically send you an email. We only use premium next day delivery services, so you can expect your order the following day.
Delivery on all Tandems is free of charge.
We can deliver your tandem to an alternative address of your choosing, you have the opportunity to provide this as the “ship to address” when completing your order.
If you require a change to the shipping address after the item ships you will be liable for a charge.
Should you be unavailable to sign for your tandem it will be returned to the couriers local depot and a card will be left for you to re-arrange delivery.
For legal reasons couriers cannot leave packages unsigned for and any requests for items to be left in the porch/shed/garden, will be disregarded.
Please note any issues relating to damage of goods during transit must be reported immediately and signed for accordingly, for us to proceed with a claim.
We suggest that, initially, you retain the packaging. Although a tandem box is quite large, it can be easily flattened and stored so, in the unlikely event that you need to return your Simmonsohn tandem, you will have suitable packaging.
All cycles including those “fully assembled” are shipped with pedals removed and handlebars rotated to side for safety reasons.
If you change your mind and decide you no longer want an item that we’ve delivered, we’re happy to offer you an exchange. You’ll need to return your item unused and in its original packaging along with the original packing note and invoice (as proof of purchase).
If product is found to be faulty within 30 days, you’re entitled to ask for a full refund of the faulty product. If a fault occurs after the initial 30 days, we’re entitled to repair and/or replace that item. If it can’t be repaired or replaced, then you may be entitled to a refund. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens’ Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
If the purchase is unwanted you will need to cover the cost of postage. However, if the item you’re returning is faulty we’ll refund the postage once we’ve received the item and checked the fault.
